Terms of Service

By using the hosted service, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the hosted service.

The hosted service is operated by Bitnexus Lab, a sole proprietorship operated by Lenz Villanueva Andrew Angel Giovanny, established in Italy. Milan, Italy. Privacy contact: privacy@bitnexuslab.com.

You may use the local, account-free features regardless of age, subject to applicable law. To create an account or use Cloud Sync, you must be at least 16 years old. If applicable law requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies.

md-pdf-preview provides a Markdown editing, document organization, pagination preview, and optional cloud-synchronization service. Local editing can work without an account; cloud features require authentication.

The hosted service is currently free. There are no payments, subscriptions, or paid service levels. The operator may introduce or remove features in accordance with applicable law and the change process below.

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from the operator's failure to provide reasonable security. Notify privacy@bitnexuslab.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Email registration requires verification. The operator may use rate limits and other reasonable controls to prevent abuse.

You may use Google or GitHub authentication. Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies. The hosted service requests only the permissions described in the Privacy Policy and does not obtain repository, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or similar unrelated access.

Use the service lawfully and do not interfere with another user's workspace or the service's operation.

You retain your rights in documents and other content you create or synchronize. You give the operator only the limited permission needed to host, store, transmit, and display that content as part of the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the content you submit.

Do not use the hosted service as the only backup for important work.

The hosted service, branding, and materials supplied by the operator remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a limited right to use the hosted service and do not transfer ownership.

The source code in the repository is separately licensed under the MIT License. The MIT License governs copying, modification, and redistribution of the source code and its notice requirements.

These Terms govern use of the hosted instance operated by Bitnexus Lab, a sole proprietorship operated by Lenz Villanueva Andrew Angel Giovanny, established in Italy. Milan, Italy. Running a self-hosted copy does not automatically make its operator subject to these hosted-service Terms; a self-hosted operator must provide its own terms and privacy information where required.

The service relies on providers including Cloudflare, Supabase, Oracle Cloud, Resend, Google, and GitHub, as described in the Privacy Policy. A provider may have separate terms, limits, or outages.

The operator will make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but does not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent availability, or a particular performance level. Maintenance, provider failures, security events, and changes may cause downtime. You are responsible for keeping independent backups of important content.

The operator may add, change, suspend, or remove features for operational, security, legal, or product reasons. Material changes that significantly affect use will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

The operator may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements, provider restrictions, or a material breach of these Terms. The operator will consider the circumstances and applicable legal requirements, and will not exclude mandatory consumer protections.

You may stop using the service at any time.

Authenticated users can permanently delete their account from the application settings after explicit confirmation. The service deletes the account and associated cloud workspace data, including Cloudflare R2 document objects; this action cannot be undone. Local-only browser documents are separate from the cloud account. Operational logs follow their independent retention periods, and formal privacy requests may be sent to privacy@bitnexuslab.com.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the hosted service is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, statutory right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory EU or Italian consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of the free service. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including liability for intent, gross negligence where non-excludable, death or personal injury, or statutory consumer protections.

The operator may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The current version, effective date, and last-updated date will be published at this URL. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Nothing in an update asks you to waive mandatory rights.

These Terms are governed by Italian law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. The courts of Milan, Italy, will have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by applicable law.
